Short answer: Yes. Malaysia passport holders can enter mainland China visa-free for up to 30 days per stay under a mutual visa exemption agreement (tourism, business, visiting family).
What you need at the border
- An ordinary passport valid for your whole stay (6 months' validity is recommended).
- Visa-free entry is for tourism, business, visiting family and transit. Work, study and journalism need a visa.
